oh boy! this is not good at all. I can imagine how the customers must feel now. The thing is that once someone gets a hold of certain data on a US citizen they can steal theit identity.

If they get a hold of the Social Security Number (SSN) or as in the case of Canada our Social Insurance Number (SIN) its bgi trouble if someone decides to use it. The sad part is the difficulty to prove that your identity has been stolen once this happens.
