Six months without electricity..comes to an end

Ahh...It was 2 days ago, I was returning home from work and the most decent site to see was a long piece of wire running from my house to a pole. Wasn't phone, neither cable, but was electricity :D You ain't know how happy I am. Since September 7th, 2004 to March 9th 2005, my life was looking DARK but not anymore.

Hey Babyjay, I heard you guys had big bashment for the Cubans that work up in your area. Even the Prime Minister was there. They light up your house yet.

Holding my breath now for my telephone to return, then I can enjoy my upgraded high speed net which was cut short on September 7th.

Congrats, things must be lookin alot more brighter now :D . I cant imagine how you went without electricity for close to six months. I can only remeber going without electricity for two weeks after a hurricane. Your'e a trooper :)

My area actually received electricity about one month after Ivan, but unfortunately my house's electrical work was badly damaged so it had to be fixed first before I actually got the electricity.

As for Babyjay (the other Grenadian member on Caribyard who you ain't see in a while)...it took her area roughly six months to receive electricity cause her area has badly damaged. Even the telephone and cable company afraid of her area :icon_eek: She ain't get back her internet yet so I guess that's why you ain't see her online for so time.

Well as far as I remember, Ivan pass outside of Jamaica. Ivan passed directly through Grenada.
