ok they saying first of all the trinity is a person that consist of 3 divine individuals...THE FATHER [GOD]......THE SON[JESUS CHRIST]....THE HOLY SPIRIT[which claims to be a person but didn't have a name which is a next topic] but i will work with the trinity first.
My questions is....isn't jesus and GOD two sperate people although they share similiar qualities they were yet two seperate individuals. in other words GOD was greater than jesus so how can they be on the same level?

well it is a bit conceptual but try to view it in the following light>>>
EARTH - The Business
GODHEAD/TRINITY - The Board of Directors
with just this bit the GODHEAD can be viewed as the board of directors. you see they are basically all equall in power as you need their cxollective unity to effect a change but yet it is made up of more than one individual.
To put it in a practical sense we pray to God (collectively) or (individual) but really the same unit.

hmmmm board of directors....hahah interesting way of putting things but there is only one big man that is the head of them all suh the trinity still not meking sense ! equal in power???? how is there equal power when jesus (who supposingly is on this boared of directors) said that GOD himself is greater than him. so it nuh meking sense to me yute !

They are three different persons. Jesus prayed to His father God. He said that He must go so that the comforter may come. The comforter is the Holy Spirit. The holy Spirit is just that...a spirit...a presence....
they all work as one. The holy Spirit is what tells you what is good...i.e. your conscience..."that still...small voice" so to speak. It inspires you to repent of your sins to be baptised. You pray to God for forgiveness but through a mediator....Jesus. So they all work in conjunction to save your soul. The holy Spirit is steadily withdrawig from the earth...hence the high level of immorality, murders and disasters....in terms of severity and frequency.
Hope that helps!

yes they are two seperate persons and they do share similar qualities but in some ways GOD has greater power as remember that JESUS is the son and GOD is the father and lets not forget that GOD was there first.

i believe that there is one God....
before abraham was, i am John 8:58
..before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
For to us a child is born. To us a son is given; and the government will be on his shoulders. His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End
all this tells me there is one god....Jesus was the manifestation of the living god....with a dual nature he suffered hunger and other weeknesses as a man..as god forgave sins and healed sicknesses.
and being found in the fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross

Who gave you in accurate information?
the teaching of the trinity doctrine regardless is in accurate and false......
God and Jesus is not the same person as persons believe the trinity explains and neither are they equal in power....... thats not correct. They are two separate individuals not to be classified as one but figuratively interms of their similar qualities

If isaiah 9:6 is refering to GOD then he must have parents and there must be someone before him that was ruling.

Let me just share a bit on this as well,
The Bible makes it clear that there is only one God. That is true, yet there are three distinct persons in the Godhead- God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are all distinct persons with the same characters: they agree on all matters.
The problem arises when the mistake is made to represent God as the Father only and then Jesus and the Holy Spirit as lesser persons. The bible teaches that the fullness of the Godhead is displayed in the person of Jesus Christ. Now from Hebrew transcripts the idea of God is made a lot clearer: the word for God in Hebrew is Elohim which a plural word meaning they saw God as more than one person, so it is three persons that are God, pretty much like a Government to which the Bible alludes so often. No one person is the Government but individually they can be referred to as the government. So it is all three: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit that make up the Godhead i.e. God None is God without the other. Each has His work to perform as Manu pointed out earlier.
Hope that makes it a little clearer:eusa_pray

The Trinity:
Father
Son
Holy Spirit
They are all one God, not 3 separate Gods:
From the Father you have the Son and from both the Holy Spirit, yet they reside in each other and become One:
The Father is God
The Son is God
The Holy Spirit is God and Jesus together
It is a difficult concept to understand but we focus on the fact that there is only one God who is also a Holy Spirit we will see that those 2 are one. Then from God came His son to represent Him here on earth and you add that to the 2, you get 3, the Trinity, yet you cannot separate them to say there are 3 Gods but 1. From God came the Spirit and the Son.

With respect Bernie, if Jesus was literally the Almighty in the form of the son,he would still possess all his faculties would he not? How is it then that
neither he nor the angels know the exact hour of of his return, only the Father alone. Also it is said that it is impossible for God to lie,so why would Christ Jesus say, 'he knows not the hour'. Mark 13:32-Heb 6:18

True Easy, Jesus saying he doesn't know proves that they are distinct persons.
Jesus was the Son made manifest in the flesh so he was truly God and truly Man. The Bible and the things of God are a mystery and no discussion in this thread will ever solve that. We just have to read the Bible and pray that the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth.:eusa_pray

the Father is god, jesus is god and the holy spirit is god, yet there is not 3 gods but only one? and to make it easier to explain this would be the government like you said! so you're saying there is no one greater than the other?they are all equal interms of rulership?

I personally think it is a great get out clause, this distinct two people bizniz. Anyway Jesus also said no man has seen God at anytime, even in his presense, but I think I am able to anticipate the reply to this saying also, but I shall leave it to others to maybe confirm this for me.

He was indeed obedient to his separate and greater Father, even as an example to/for the rest of us to follow. However even when in heaven, Jesus has to be brought into the presense of the only one seated on the eternal throne. Daniel 7:9-14

If Jesus was God....who did he pray to???? Who "forsook" him on the cross? Into to whose hand did he commit his spirit?????
Who is the comforter who came after Jesus left???
This shows 3 seperate Entities. Think of it as a Coporation. God is the President and Jesus and the Holy Spirit are the V.P.s
