Great!!!!

The budget has been read by our Minister of Finance and we will experience no new taxes for this fiscal year!!!


hhhmmm......I wonder...... (the politics of it all)


I bet you that he will keep his word. HOWEVER, I think there will be an increase in the some of the current taxes we pay. :wink:


That is what I think still...

Well, he already said that there will be increases in some user fees for Govt services :? Sounds like a backdoor tax increase to me.

Well at least no new taxes... we might be able to actually have money at some point in time during this year then

Thats some great news. You're right about an increas en the current taxes we pay cuz I'm seeing a little more being taken out of my NIS and NHT, not to mention PAYE.

Why would the Government want to deceive you, after all they can't do no wrong. Well must be why the have been in power for the past 14-15 years!!!

It's not you Nas it's us. It's supprising to me how a government of this nature can be in power for 14-15yrs, but hey how much better is the alternative? :-s

This taxing thing can be approached in many ways. They can as the ruling part increase taxes that are already in place or formulate some crisis to implement additional taxes. What hurts is that Jamaicans will bawl during the reign and at election they get 1 tin bum and a poun a flouwa and them vote fi di same govament

I only have two words to say about the JA gov and there taxes, but I wont say it cause the Mods will just take it off, :x Let me ask you peeps a Q although I should probaly start a trend on this...does anyone like or aprove of this gov's methods? I mean really, someone tell me someting good that has come about to benifit all jamaicans that this gov has done. Cause I am losing faith in them...o wait losing faith in them would suggest that I had faith in them.....hmmm...someone convince me why I should have any faith or trust in them

I've heard that all my life. But if the country does not help you, you cannot help it. If the country makes it hard for you to go to school, without an education how much can you do for your country?
