History has been repeated today again with the West Indies. Four players crossed the century mark with Chris Gayle (who has been under scrutiny by the critics) scoring triple century :)
Last year in 2004 same thing happened in the home series against England. After losing the test series with one more game, West Indies worked hard to prevent a white wash. In fact, Brian Lara scored world record 400*, the only cricketer to ever crossed the 400 century mark

You have a little error their Chico. It was from Matthew Hayden that he took the world record. What an innings by Gayle only one chance.

Lara is a part of the team so I think they should stick with the later. Everyone benifits

Thanks for the correction, Greatis :) I kinda figured out that Ricky Pointing sound wrong but I couldn't remember the right person.
I thought Gayle was going after Lara's record

Don't get me wrong dude, Lara is one of the greatest but the team is not insync. They need the spirit of the old west indies to guide them. And a bowling attack. :eusa_pray

Think I need to rephrase what I said.
It's good when the team plays as a team, that way no one person gets all the praise or all the bashing so they should continue playing as a team. They do better when they play that way
