Ok...last January, the doctor advised me to lose some weight. So following the order, I went about the quest to lose weight. Three months later (well yesterday) I took my weight on one of my workplace's scale and WOW...I lost six pounds...sounds a little :icon_eek: but I'm happy :D

LoL. Congrats Chico!!!

Maybe you check another scale just to make sure the readings are accurate all across the board? You could have actually lost more weight. ;)

hey congrats chico. go to the doc and use their scales, they have a more accurate reading.

i don't have worms believe me the only place gaining weight is my bottom an it big enough already

memba seh you a married man, i don't eat junk food and except for seafood and pork i eat everything else.

Everything else you say? Anyways..I can appreciate beauty of women hun. Thats what I'm doing....as I've always said..."Any girl can me to look at them but only my babes can hold my stare!"

Well it depends on your height. If you are say 5'1 you may be at your ideal weight. If you are over 5'5 then you are underweight. If you want to know how to gain weight, increase your protein intake to carb intake. Protein helps to build muscle mass, which adds some weight. As well if you exercise vigorously, slow it down a bit, you may be burning more calories than you are consuming. Other than that, you may just have a genetically fast metabolism, which most people would kill for.

well i am 5'5 so does that mean i'm underweight, the only meat i really eat is chicken, i'm more into vegetables

At that height you should be more in the range of a 130 lbs. You should eat more red meat along with chicken, as well as more carbohydrates like bread to pack on some needed pounds. I would contact a doctor first though, he would give you the best and safest advice.

I agree with Bahama Mama, except for the red meat part..... It is a sure fire way to gain weight, but how healthy is it. Upon Roy Rogers death, 25 lbs of undigested red meat was found in his stomach.
Best to consult with a doctor first, but Grand Mama always know best, you have to break down then build back up.. As they say in Jamdown, do a wash out and cleanse your system... you will be surprise and nothing to be shame about but people do have worm inside their stomach.

Cleanse your system, monitor what you eat and how often you eat, and in what portions... This is also good for loosing weight, but your would do the reverse of what Bahama Mama said.

You can try a lot of techniques to gain the weight:
Eating late at night
Potato (boil / roast), not fry oily skin
Lots of fish, chicken and bread
Eat in smaller portion, but more frequent.....

But Leina, the way you describe yourself, seems like you have things a gwan fe you.... why rock the boat. Mr. Mention don't like..... its all a state of mind babes....

well i eat rice as long as nuh di one wid pumpkin, vegetable any one is ok with me, chicken, beef (curried),mutton, goat
