LOL...Ramesh is joking :)
what did they do this time?
It was about a guy with 3 kids who had lost his wife to cancer and she was only 29. Before she died they had bought a house together and were about to renovate it when she was diagnose with advance stage of lukemia :(
So EHMO team went in with the intentions of making it bigger only they couldn't because the house was really no good so they had to rebuild. You should see the house, backyard and furniture...wow.
I love EHMO, always makes me cry buckets, but it's a good program to watch. Makes you realised that with all the sadness, pain and wicked ppl in the world there are still good ppl around.

AK, did you catch the show this Sunday? They built a house from scratch for the family of Jessica Lynch's partner, that died in Iraq. The first woman that died in Iraq. She left behind 2 little kids. And they are living with thier grandparents now. The grandparents lived in a mobile home on land they didn't own.
You should have seen the house AK. IT - WAS - UN - BELIEVABLE! :icon_eek:
The thing was HUGE!

AA...oh man what a beautiful house, more importantly what a wonderful thing they did for the Native Americans.
Thanks goodness I was alone when watching ;)
The series seems to get better and better and the houses bigger and bigger. Now if I could figure out a way for them to come build me a house, only I don't want one as big unless it's self cleaning :)

What I wondered, with the cieling being 12 feet high all around the house, how are they going to change the light bulbs when they blow? :eusa_thin
Get a tall ladder I suppose.
Boy, these people are spending millions of dollars building these houses. :icon_eek:

Trust me changing bulbs is the least of their troubles. Maintaining the house is what I wonder about, the cost, cleaning, etc.
I did a research to figure out how the taxes would go since usually they would be taxed by the govt for receiving a house. Trhu some elborate scheme, ABC implemented the project in such a way that the home owners won't pay any or not much taxes.
The money they use to build the houses comes from avertisements, plus a lot of stuff is donated by Sears and the various builders they use.

AK you're not alone. I always cry at the end of it.ANd then they play the sappy orchestra music to jerk the tear even more. I loved the kids with the wheelchair's room. Plus the pool was pretty impressive too.
And they gave the daughter a car, stopped the mortgage and set up a college fund. I was crying for the last twenty miutes. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE that show!!!!

You women need some real romance in your lives....then you won't be so aw-stricken when good things happen to other people...because great things would be happening to you! Just a thought...

Or maybe we are just not selfish and constantly focus on our lives but are genuinely happy when good things happen to others.
