I don't want to live so long. 70 is a good age. I hope God don't keep me on here too long. :(

I'm 77. It would surely be a blessing to live that long...but I think cancer is gonna get me....:(

Forgive me AA...not trying to bug you, but something like this is never good to hope for. If we say we trust God then we should be able to leave our lives in His hand and at His mercy. IMHO...to say we do not want to live however long he decides is like a slap in His face.

Good point. I would want to live to see my grandkids....see my seed going forth...but i'm just scared that cancer will get me before. (3 grand parents died of it...plus countles other family members so I think prostate cancer gonna get me). It's all in His hands. I can only hope!

I trust Him. But I also have my desire which is hopefully not to live a long life. Since I haven't actually sat down and talked with Him about it, I don't know what His plans are, in terms of how long I will live. If my desire isn't His will, then He will reassure my heart to understand why He needs me to live a longer life.

I surely won't go against His plans for me. I know better than to fight against God. ;)

"Trust in the Lord with all Thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding in all Thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."

Well, I can't explain it any better, but I assure you, that I'm not doubting His plans for me and do fully trust Him. ;)
