Anyone uses a Pedometer? I am thinking of getting one. At least I would have an idea of how muck walking I get done in a day. They say between 6000 - 10,000 steps is a good way to keep healthy. Here is some info if you are interested:

You are not doing any counting the Pedometer does it for you. You don't even remember the Pedometer is there since you just clip it on to your belt and go, certainly doesn't stop you from watching the scenery. It's very useful, it has the time and I can progam it to tell me how much calories I burn. Also the one I bought has a personal alarm and the little bugger sure is noisy.
BTW I got the Walking Shop by Sportline Model.

Why not just exercise? 10,000 steps a day will keep you healthy, but no-one actually walks 10,000 steps a day. joging and exercising should compensate.

Says who? Do you even know what 10,000 steps are like? Its not that much believe me and I didn't even realised this until I got the pedometer.
Just by going to work and walking around I do nearly 7,000 steps. I go for a walk during my lunch time for 30 mins or so that takes me up to 10,000. BTW walking is one of the best forms of exercise there is, less impact on your knees and believe me my knees can not take any impact.
