Since a thread was started on the opposite, what do you guys think are your worst assets (physically and personally), or at least what you have gotten negative feedback for?

Well what I would consider my worst assets is my feet. I wear a size 11, its a pain shopping for shoes.

Oh hush you must be tall. I wear 9-10 and I loooooooove shoes. Try a certian brand or 2 and see if you can work with them.

Sometimes I find that what we consider to be our "worst" asset is the very thing that puts us on top. ;)

i'm 5' 5 and wish if i were a bit shorter i weigh 120 i'm the 2nd child and the 2nd smallest (my 7 year old brother is catching up real fast :mad: ) so you see things aren't so bad

You know its been my experience that some good looking people have very low self esteem about themselves, and it provides a sort of distorted figure when they look in the mirror. But there is a minority of goodlooking individuals that look good, know they look good, but call themselves ugly, just so they can hear the expressions of shock, "You are so beautiful, what you talkin bout", of course another point to big up their ego. And then there are those folk who are simply unphased by their good looks, those types impress me. Just pointing out what I have experienced, I am sure others have had similar experiences.

true dat Bahama & leina. Met those ppl who just a dead fi compliment already. u know what? we should just agree wid dem one time "oh i hate my nose" and u respond "its ok (gi dem a likkle boost) but it is weird looking...especially that <insert diss here>." they'll know not to ask u again...

But then there are the genuine ones that u need to boost esp. those who look "unconventional" and think theyre not pretty by cultural standards. I find that with some of my "plumper" gals - and i have to be like, no gurl, u ARE pretty. u know i love what the local modelling industry is doing (ja)! i love the fact that those saint and pulse models look more like the rest of the females out there (facially cuz dem well tall and skinny)

u cant forget the ones who thought they were "ugly ducklins" and blossomed into swans, those are the "unphased" ones. which one are u?

Im a teenage gurl, and i work with teenagers who sound just like unnu, and nuh matter how much smady tell unnu seh unnu alrite, if yall dont speak to ure own souls then nothing can convince u otherwise. Look ureself in the mirror and say "I'm GORGEOUS!!" U may not realize it but how u view ureselves physically is how u may act. I donno but it happened to me. I cant convince unnu granted I donno how unnu look, but yall do look human –like rite?? Then u are all wonderfully fashioned!

I had to learn to accept myself the hard way. Was praying one day, complaining to God how I look and it was like the holy spirit chastised me for being ungrateful. It wasn’t until I was 17 did I start lying to myself (I kept saying I was pretty) till God made me really believe I was pretty. Laughs. I guess I had to grow up quick cuz there was a horde of beautiful 12 year olds coming to me about their physical problems that God wanted me to uplift.

Lemmie not get too personal. Dinka, ure a lovely woman. I donno how u look, but I have no doubt that u aren’t. and ure back problems could be serious. Check it out hun, I have a fren who had to do surgery on her spinal cord at 16.
In any case, get some clothes and shoes that accentuate ure figure; and wear colours that match ure skin tone; and comb ure hair to accentuate ure cheek bones/face structure. I had to learn these things fo myself.

Thanx girls you really are beautiful persons.

But lemme be clear. I was just stating what I think are my main flaws. But I completely love myself, and I know that they are what make me unique and special to many ppl. I'm not perfect and I'm happy with the way I look. I hear may of my gf complain that they aren't tall enough and that they can't find any clothes that fit them without doing some sewing. I'm 5'8 too and I never went on a diet.

:icon_arro As for my back, Chany I've seen a doctor and made some X rays, and in fact I have a light scoliosis and swimming soothes it.

My post was just to show that at times I wish to be a lil different. I wasn't complaining at all, one of my other worst assets is that I hate complaining and ppl that do it all the time. ;)
