Rising star is a good thing, but i just dont see where them promoting Hip hop artistes
they dont seem to be Pro-hip hop

dude the rising star is a contract thing. if you get picked you have to sing and perform under there saying most of it would be for promotion of digicel.

but the man them seh them nuh want do it,

u know, u have to think deep. u have to ask yourself:
"how much would digicel promote them, would they push it as hard as the artistes wants? Is it an Exclusive contract?" which it is, and that means they can do work ONLY for digicel and the affiliated label.

plus, the main thing is, they audition without a background track, this means their no-melody free styles would not have the full effect it should have. THis gives the singers an edge over them

so as much as i wish it could be done, i just dont see it possible. i would really love the exposure though, trust me. You know how long mi a mek riddim fa? try 4-5 years and i'm just 20
