This is an Outrage

There is a site on the net with the address www.grenadasucks.com. I'm outraged by some of the items contained in that site. It tries to show Grenada as a backward society with people with lack of understanding.

I also understand that the persons behind this site have a PC store that is reportely closed temporarily. I WILL NOT REVEAL THE NAME OF THE STORE HERE. Anyways, it is said that the owners left the island owing huge amounts of monies to utility companies and its landlord thousands of dollars. They got heavy concessions from the state and then used that to their advantage by ripping off people.

well, lets just hope they don't come to Jamaica. Chico, they have a feedback form, why don't you express your discomfort there? they probably won't put it on the website but atleast you know you made them know how u feel.

In any case, if the information is not factual, can't the government sue? i don't know if any-thing can be done legally. this website not only sheds bad light on Grenada, but the site developers made it clear that some of these things were occuring in other Caribbean islands.

In any case Chico, u one can't do a thing. Lobby with some proud citizens and build a site to counter them, notify the authorities, publicize existing sites that glorify Grenada. Unless this site is publicized, no-one will know about it cuz when i googled "Grenada" it wasn't one of the top 20 hits. Maybe that should be consoling for now.
