The movies don't do the books much justice....trust me on that. they even rewrite the storylines for time purposes!

i am a huge harry potter fan, i've read all the books, i cant wait for book 6. people say its for kidz but i dont believe that, which kid is goin to read a book with over 800 pages. I'm so excited, the last time i was this excited was when rotk was released in theatres. cant wait, cant wait.

the movies dont do the book justice, the books are way better trust me. i told one of my frenz who has never read a book b4, all he does is listen to music, to reaD THE HARRY POTTER books and he really enjoyed them

I must say the book was rather exciting thrilling and all. But when you watched the movie you're like what the hell is going on here so boring. The first two movies were better.

Yup....reason being...the whole movie was basically re-written so it was hard to follow. Had loop holes and all. After reading the book....you understood the whole Harry Potter saga! Movie was ok....but it could have been muich better. My imagination did better justice than movie.

What is Harry Potter about?

It's about a boy who discovers at 11 that he is a wizard and that his parents were killed by an evil wizard/warlock by the name of Voldemort. Not only that, but it seems that he has unusual powers and that, as a mere child, was able to defeat Voldemort!

There is more, including his hateful mortal (muggle) relatives, but I don't want to give it all away... :D

you know is after i saw Blindz's post I realized how it sounded. I'm not implying that. I just don't like those influences for young children. What happen to those kids who become fanatics and dream of going to Hogwarts this September....

book 4 the goblet of fire sould be a good movie, there is a lot of action in it. it is suppose to be release in september. i think book 6 is the like the fellowship of the ring only worse she is just preparing us for book 7 the grand finale. now that should contain a lot of action because voldemort's army needs to be destroyed and his army is huge, fill with dark wizards and dementers. there should be a lot of fightin.

if you've read the inteverviews that have been down with Rowling you'll see thats the reason why it was done.. i for one second it. i hate when people are replaced in movies if they die and can move on remove them fromt he story in the same manner... kill them.

Guys I just finished reading the book. I am was so pissed but after analyzing the events I have a very plausible theory.


SPOILER WARNING

Ok if you all notice that after Dumbledore drank the emerald liquid in the cave he had was rather weak and wanted to see Snape immediately. I have two possible theories here.

Theory 1

He wanted to see Snape to put some theory or say something to him that would help Snape in his double agent role.

Theory 2.

He Dumbledore took too long to get to Snape because of all that talk with Malfoy. His pleading to Snape was to end the suffering because he could not be saved the time was past. Snape also realized this that he could not help him any longer so he killed him to stay with Voldemort.

I tend to think that theory number 2 is more plausible and we will see in book seven (in another year) that Snape will contact the order and send valuable information to them.

i beleive that was a spy for dumbledore. when he saw dumbledore and realise it was too late to save him, he killed him to gain favor with voldemort

and is it just me or have the books become increasingly scary and real and mature! i like book one where harry didn't have a care in the world... now he's so packed with issues i can't bare to read!
