Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes.

Does anyone else think that Katie Holmes sudden conversion is a little suspect? Is this real? Who's going to bid on the length of their scientological union? We'll start the bidding at 1 year. Can I get 1 year over here?

Nah...it aint real....kinda sad for such a good actor...because we can all tell he's faking it!

I say.....less than two years but over a year. It's the new Benniffer people...get used to it. They have their own name by the way......TomKat

I personally believe that Tom Cruise is experiencing a mid-life crisis, which is being manifested in his nauseating giddiness (Did anyone see him jumping up and down on Oprah's chair? ), and his aggressive stance concerning the teachings of Scientology (He trashed Brook Sheilds for taking anti-depressants to overcome the 'baby blues' after the birth of her daughter).

As far as Katie Holmes is concerned, it was reported that her dream was to marry Tom Cruise one day. The girl is living out her fantasy. Tom Cruise is an ardent Scientologist, and I dont believe that he and Katie can have a 'successful' relationship without her belief system mirroring that of his. I dont think it would work just for that reason, and may be the reason he and Nicole Kidman split.

The marriage may be long by Hollywood's standards (5 years at least), but Katie is still young, and I believe hern feelings about Tom and Scientology wont coincide in years to come.
