20 Character Limit

I notice when i make a short post it promp me that i need to extend my post to 20 characters. I also notice that there are members here not only mods are albe to post short post, such as "lol" or just a smiley ":)"
Whats up with this? Is it a feature that can be enabled on your account?

You see that dont work for me. when i put the lot of space it go through at first but dont make the post. It take me to the advance editor with an error at the top saying i need to post 20 characters or more.

See bunny just did it. Gucci did it in the Hit women Thread, plus all over i see it.

ok i am lenthening. i just was trying it again, i pot alot of spaces and i was then taken to the advance editor where i get this error
"The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 20 characters."

finaly that seem to work. i had to put the trale of spaces between the "word" and the period. Why is there a limit anyway?

Of course you guys realise that what you're proudly doing will circumvent the intention for imposing the character limit? :eusa_naug All this means then is that short, "meaningless" posts may not stay around for too long.

Oh, I know now. however there are thread like Hangman and Smiley that readly dont need a limit, since one smiley can express your feelings and a One letter guess or the game is need.

I got you though. ;)Of course there will be instances like you've mentioned where we're flexible :) but if people use it to substitute for an IM chat session then it's a different story ;)
