IN a case that may well qualify for Ripley's Believe it or not, the Greater Portmore police Saturday charged three dead men with three counts of robbery with aggravation, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition and shooting with intent at the police. :rotflm: :rotflm: :rotflm: only in Jamaica.

Even I understood that they were being formally charged, even though they were dead. I guess there was nothing more exciting to report or maybe the oberver wanted to cheer up thier readers that morning? :rolleyes:

It's a very sad state of affairs if people are cheered up by the death of three people, even under these circumstances. In britain there would be an automatic independent inquiry into the shootings and subsequent deaths of the men. Even bad people deserve a fair sense of justice. At least it would probably give some form of comfort to the bereaved relatives.

Well, wasn't putting it like that. But the main point of the article was the men (supposedly criminals according to the article) being charged after they were dead. They were not highlighting that they died.

You have a point though.
