Well I aint financially equipped to throw a bashment party. I was hoping you can pitch in :D ;)

If our boy get the gold (which I'm 99% confident he will)...somebody else might throw a bashment for him, like his sponsers.

Oh yeah, do you support the $1 million fund raiser for francique :icon_ques Are you planning on giving donations

Ohk...so francique didn't win the Gold, or any other medals for that matter.

He came 4th in the final of the men's 400m.

Official Results:

Rank Country Name Time
1 USA WARINER Jeremy 44.00
2 USA HARRIS Otis 44.16
3 USA BREW Derrick 44.42
4 GRN FRANCIQUE Alleyne 44.66
5 JAM SIMPSON Brandon 44.76
6 JAM CLARKE Davian 44.83
7 FRA DJHONE Leslie 44.94
8 JAM BLACKWOOD Michael 45.55

Must say, even if he didn't get any metal, I am still proud that Grenada can boast of having made finals in an olympic game.

It's rather unfortunate no one from the caribbean won any medal. I would be happier if Alleyne had won even bronze. Congrats to him still for being the fourth fastest man at the 400m.

First off, lemme say, I'm a lil disappointed, cause the mistake he made slowin down on Sat. in the semi-finals (which was not the first time and he knew the consequences of that) caused him to get the hardest lane, lane 8 :icon_neut , BUT to run in lane 8 and place 4th!!! :eusa_eh: Now THAT"S sumthin. So he did run his best and went beyond wat most ppl could do in that lane, so congrats to him :D . We've been represented and represented well.

I think Alleyne did well....yeah a bit shaken that he didn't get the gold or any metal for that matter. No doubt cause of his performance in the semi finals last saturday. But overall, he's our Olympian in our book.

Dunno if this is true but I heard the americans offered to give Alleyne full citizenship in the US if he performed for the US olympic team....Of course he refused :D
