Jamaica vs USA

This is the first I have watched the Reggae Boys play in a long while. And they weren't too bad, but I was still disappointed at them though.

The final scored was 1-1. With Jamaica scoring a very good goal in the 48th minute. After that, USA was on the attack throughout the second half of the game. I mean, it was exciting to watch. You could see that USA wanted to score and score badly. They had 6 men up front on the attack, while Jamaica only had 2 guys.

When it seemed like we were going to make history and beat the USA, Reggae Boys left a hole in their defence which allowed 3 USA forwards to have time to get the ball settled and place it well into the back of the net. They scored about the 85th minute.

A few things I have noticed is that the Reggae Boys usually don't make good on thier corners.
But the goal keeping and the defence was good and I give them that.

Man it hurt me when in the final minutes the USA scored. It was as if the Reggae Boyz were busy tasting victory that they forgot to close defense and try to widen the gap with another goal :confused:

Fi real star. I actually had my hopes up that we were going to win. To actually make history and beat the US. But it seems the Boyz either were to tired to keep up the defence, or they thought the game would a done already. Cho!

But still, I neva hear a stadium pack with so many people, so quiet after that goal from the US. You could here a mouse squealing in the place.

I am glad though that Ja went against the US. Dem always a tink seh dem better than people. So even if it is a draw match, I count it as a privelege to see our Reggae Boyz dust out the US.
