If love hurts so badly, might as well don't bother even getting in love in the first place. Right?

Or do you just go in a loving relationship with risks, a double minded heart- it might work out but if it don't, a so it go.

love doesn't hurt (my theory) but not getting it when you are giving can drive a person coo-coo. love is what keeps us together...what causes a heart to break is the lack of it.

like i said (according to my theory) its the lack of love that hurts. if you love some one and the feeling is mutual on his/her part....then i bet you wont be hurting. its when the love is not returned or betrayed (in the case, betrayal would be the culprit) then the hurt comes in

i agree.....if you realise that most relationships end whenever one person decides that he/she is no longer in love....then comes heart-break

Then again most persons who have been through a lot of pain will go into a realtionship with that kind of attitude. In my opinion you dont intentionally "get into love" it just happens....

Unrequited love, betrayal by the person u love, all bad things yes. But never let anyone of them stop u from opening ur heart, receive and don't be afraid to give. Love is a wonderful thing, it's worth the pain when it's something good.

There is a saying 'A life without love, is no life at all'. Love like everything else in life has some measure of risk. So just like the street signs sometime says:

Proceed with Caution

Love can never hurt...some people just don't know how to manipulate it properly.

Long distance relationships work if you are aware that when that person has certain needs that can't be met via the internet and phone, they will seek the satisfaction elsewhere.

Then by all means a long distance relationship will work.

Gwadinka
November 24, 2005, 02:53 PM
It depends on the kind of relationship you have, if you both agree on certain rules, if you both know each other well enough and trust each other enough then I do not see why it would not work.

Twinkie
November 24, 2005, 03:56 PM
Trust disintegrates with distance. You live in England, I live in Manchester, there is no way we are gonna remain faithful over a four year separation. Afterall, there are times when the temperature in those places drop to "needbodyheat" degrees.

bernie
November 24, 2005, 05:08 PM
i really dont have a problem with being faithful. thing is if i'm in a relationship then i need to have my partner living with me...not thousands of miles away. it totally defeats the whole purpose i believe. i need someone to be there with and for me....
dont get me wrong...vacations are ok. all i'm saying is that we should not be apart for long periods.

Twinkie
November 25, 2005, 10:39 AM
And this has nothing to do with your insecurities right Bernie? [no sarcasm] But there is a certain need to share space, a bed, a hug with your significant other that can't be met, when you are thousands of miles apart. A phone call can do so much and no more.

I too, need to have my regular rub up and chupps up and need to see and feel my guy on a regular basis. Long distance thing would not work favourably for either of us.
