Dey will paint here black everyday and the right things they will never say

Like our sportsmen they are rated among the bset
Our sigar and oil is really the test
To put us right along side the rest

I am going to play devils advocate here and ask:

1) "So does Trinidadians still have a problem with the fact that Jamaica played Bahrain in a friendly match?"

2) "If they had lost would they have blamed it on Jamaica for playing Bahrain?"

3) "If yes, does that mean that they blame Jaiamca for their winning?"

LOL...sorry I couldn't resist, considering all the hoopla I read on here:)

Jamaica's match with Bahrain was cancelled. Come on. Ever heard of Bahrain? How the hell could they have beaten Trini? Even St. Vincent (caribbean beating stick) might've beat them. No disrespect to the Trini team. They played well and outplayed and outclassed Bahrain. They should've scored more. They just didn't finish. They need to work on that for 2006. The Bahrain players were lenky and didn't strike me as footballers. Obviously the first match the Trinis were tentative. Didn't know what to expect. But after seeing the replay and realized that their foe was no match for them...they smelled (smelt) blood and came out hungry and put a whipping on Bahrain. Good show I say...good show! :eusa_clap

Why was it cancelled and if the Bahrainis couldn't beat the Trinis then why was there a hoopla to begin with? See I don't understand it all since I am of the opinion that it is just a game. In any event it matters not and I better leave it be before I hear I am an agressive Jamaican woman:)

BTW....Congrats to Trinidad

Cause Trini was always seen as the underdogs....until they saw they saw their opponents. Lol. long and lenky. It was cancelled because of the controversy surrounding it.

In any event what I didn't understand and still don't, is why they claim that one of the reasons they didn't want Bahranis getting practice session in Jamaica is that they will get aclimatised.

Bahrain is an island off the coast of Saudi Arabia, well several islands in fact and can get really hot and humid. Especially during the summer months with an average degree of 37C. The average temperature in Jamaica during the summer months is perhaps about 33C.
