That is probably true that someone may have started a similar thread. But the Heading should be MUSIC and then under that heading you can start thread. Just an opinion. :) I like Beenie Man and his new cd Dancehall, whatever, hip hop ok sometime. But right now Im lookin for some new gospel cds I like to listen to my gospel on Sundays and Im lookin for a new cd. Any one listen to gospel here any cds they really like now PM me and let me know or post it in this thread. I havent seen any artist lately besides seeing them on TV so that answers that. I like all types of music so I will listen to it mostly if it makes sense and sounds good. Ok cool

I like a lot of different types of music with the exception of:

Dancehall - I do listen to some dancehall, mostly the older stuff, but I can only take about 15 mins or so.
Heavy metal - this is not music, just pure noise in my opinion and noise that gives me a headache.
Hard rock
Rap

Give me everything else from the Classics to Reggae, to African music and Irish jiggs:)

BTW, if you haven't check out Launchcast by Yahoo, its a cool radio station.

Well, I'll copy my post from the previoius thread into this one.

Being a Christian, I listen to a lot of Christian Gospel music. My favourite being Worship Songs. I love praise and worship. There's nothing compared to giving praise and glory to God.

But I enjoy listening to Papa San, Prodigal, Junior Tucker, Kirk Franklin, Ron Kenoly, DC Talk (favourite back in the day), Mary Mary...etc.
CD's like WOW 2001 and WOW 2002 you will find in my collection.

I used to listen to souls when I was years younger. Couldn't get enough of it. Especially during the time when i had girl trouble. I found it made me depressed to hear these other artists and thier woman problems too. And how it made them feel. Sad, lonely, hurt.

Now, my eyes are focused on things above. And from above, I will find joy and peace and comfort. No more depression for me. :)

I have quite a few Kirk Franklin cd's along with his latest one: Rebirth. Rebirth is very cool. Make you wanna jump and dance. Not to mention Papa San is also featured on the album. I enjoy Kirk's spirit when he doing his songs. He just seems to be into the music. Can't help but just wanna shout. lol
