What's the one piece of technology that you can do without, if not permanently at least for a while?

For me it's the telephone. I don't have a landline, just a cell phone and 1/2 the time I do not bother to answer it.

It's easier to get access to me via email or MSN, etc. :)

The only tecnology I really like is the ability to communicate on CY.Bah humbug to the rest.I find it most difficult to get to grips with.Then again I am attempting to figure it out on my own with no real formal training.:eusa_wall

Not all. I think today's soap operas, reality TV (except Amazing Race) are a load of crap. But channels like A&E, History Channel, and Turner Classic Movies are a great watch. But yes nothing can replace a good ole book.

Some really sensible people are here man. I moved recently and didn't bother to buy a television I can do without that for sure.
