Anyone read the books? This movie will be coming out on the 9th of December in the states. Should be out here around that time, if not before.
Definetly gonna watch it when it comes out.
Visit www.narnia.com for trailers and video clips.

I love the concept behind this movie. Never read it, but have read Sword of Truth and the fantasy and un-realness of it all is the most appealing part.
I will definitely spen my nanny to watch this.

I am so happy that the movie's out. My daughter has been doing that book (The lion,The Witch and The Wardrobe)in Literature class...It's a very interesting book to read. The anonymous narrator reveals the story of Narnia through the eyes of a child.I recommend everyone to read it...even if you don't have any children:)

Really good series, believe it or not, the author is VERY christian, and the books steeped in religious but not preachy teachings.

The author (C.S. Lewis) was good friends with JRR Tolkein and may have exchanged ideas for their books.

I'd gladly give Carib my nanny to watch this movie again. It was soooooooo good. I loved the imagery, the imaginitive displays, the story line was also pretty refreshing. I liked that when the war was over and they grew up, when they came back thru the wardrobe it was only a few seconds later from when they went in.
Excellent movie. I knew I'd like it.

So I just saw the Chronicles of Narnia, and I enjoyed the movie immensley.
I have never read the book(s), but I have been watching the animated version on television every year at Christmas time since I was a child. The mythical creatures like the fawns and centaurs, were very realistic, as well as the talking animals. This movie should get some awards or at least nominations for graphics and makeup.
