View Full Version : Bad accident in St. John's Grenada

So far I heard that one woman dead and the driver in critical condition plus a number of others also in critical condition.
The bus #HS 717 goes by the name "Shalom" was on it's way from St George's (south of the island0 to St Patricks (North of the island).
A number of the injured are being rushed to the hospital.

Sorry to hear about this accident. Unfortunately we're very much accustomed to this in Jamaica so it's nothing new for us.

yes this is really sad. But true what Chris said. It happens so often here. I guess the bigger the country the more of those you will see.

Looks like I seeing two bodies..someone chest more to the left and a guy's face to the right.

More Info: Two persons have died as a result of this accident. One woman who was returning home from purchasing school books for the new school year died instantly. She was sitting in the front. Another guy died late yesterday in the hospital. He was returning home from work.

Even more disturbing is that a truck ran into that same building (when it was a shop)sometime years ago. The shop was later turned into a church where this bus ran into. Close to that area one time, a woman died in a house fire and a young school boy lost his life when he lost his head while sticking his head out of a bus window which collided into a pole :icon_cry:
