What is the most bizarre thing/s you've experienced since you've been on this earth (though if u had experienced anything b4 that, that would be BIZARRE). Don't hold back let it all out, but if it's too XXX try censoring urself somewhat, let's not get the Mods ticked off!!!:icon_mrgr

Being seemingly attacked by a gang er pack of squirrels on my University campus my first year. I was surrounded by those critters, who jumped from trees, scurried out of holes, everywhere right in my path. Of course I screamed like a mad woman, while everyone else laughed their *****e$ off at me. I suspect I got in the middle of a turf war or something. Wrong place at the wrong time.:(

Hail

I've had a few of these bizarre experiences myself and it is hard for me to determine which I would rank as the most bizarre.

The first was being attacked by a crazy territorial bird while at Calabar one afternoon.
The bird tore my uniform and attacked me several times while I was taking a shortcut throguh the abandoned (at the time) section of the school known then as Long Island. The bird didn't stop until I way across the other side of Red Hills Rd.
I found out later that I wasn't the only one that was attacked and heavily truamatized by such an incident. We had to aviod going through Long Island until all its young had left the nest.

The second was being stopped, interrogated an searched by the DEA with my brother while at the main train station in Washington DC. We were in transit from Maryland going to Delaware, running to catch a train we were stopped by at least 12 agents with their hands in their trench coats, ear-peice in ears and all wearing aviator ray-ban glasses.
I was surprised at how happy they were to find out we were Jamaicans and how disappointed they were afterwards when they found nothing and had to let us go. We were racialy profiled, and after missing our train we were sent on our way with an insincere "Sorry about that, just doing our job".

The third was witnessing on two occasions some sick individual sexually molesting a cow (the same cow on both occasions). :eusa_sick
This sick scene took place not in St. Mary but in St. Andrew near where I lived, in an open feild on Sullivan Ave.
Our townhouse scheme is separated from this area by a fence and a tributary gully, the first time I went over an accosted him but he ran away, the second time I decided to call the Constant Spring police, they died laughing while I told them what was happening, they never came but a group of men saw him while walking down the ave and chased him.
I never found out if they caught him (the sick bastard) and I never found out if the owner put the cow to sleep. :icon_frow

Wow.. the second one isn't bizzarre that happens all the time,,as for the bird. Maybe she saw what happened to the cow andbecame terrified of all humans..

I recall as a child, after watching a vampire movie, I was attacked by one of those huge moths. I was convinced that Dracula had come for me.

That maybe true Tiffany but no law abiding person expects it to happen to them, regardless of where they are. That makes it bizarre.

as for the bird. Maybe she saw what happened to the cow andbecame terrified of all humans

If it had happened at KC, Wolmers, Cornwall, Titchfield or some school in St. Mary then would overstand it, but not at di big school :)
The bird would have no reason to be terrified at Calabar, she thought she was protecting her young.

Hail Tiffany

Having attended Calabar High School some years ago, I can only speak of what happened, what I had heard of, and what the general practices were at the school. Certainly we had our own share of bizarre incidents , not to mention our own set of mavericks and odd characters.
But I'm certainly that I can say "We neva deal wid no Bovine".

The guys at the other schools can speak for themselves :D :icon_twis

I was on my way home to Cumberland, Portmore. The taxi driver made a stop in Newlands to let off this man. A guy ran up and started stabbing the guy in the front seat in his chest, I was seated right behind him. Man I was so frightened I couldn't react. Even when the car drove off the guy was running alongside the car and stabbing the man. It was crazy!!!!!

Thanks for sharing, I was begining to think that this kind of stuff only happened to me, thanks to Lisa20 and NSN.
I'm begining to remember all sorts of weird stuff that I've been witness to, maybe I should write a book. :)

Jae a few days ago a friend of mine descibed a similar incident near Stand Pipe, seems to be a trend.
How shook up were you ?
BCK I can imagine the thought of some guy in a cape wanting to suck on your neck must be scary :icon_eek:
I hope you got over it ok.

Twinkie, hail neighbour, did you see this guy? I hope he's not a friend of yours :)

:icon_arro Izemi-Clem - Well pretty shook up. I remember that they were rushing him to the hospital but the driver let off the rest of the passengers. I missed my stop way back, and was s'posed to take a cab back down. I decided to walk, no way after that was I taking another taxi. Even today I hardly go thru that area (well I moved outta the country anyway). When I got home I had to wash off the blood (not alot) a few drops had caught my face and I threw away my top. I was in a daze for the rest of the week. Cause I always thought that could've been me.
