hey first of all i dont want to offend anyone but i just wanted to know is this how things go here?

i personally see uneducated 15-19 year old girls involving themselves with 40+ year old white males, who apparently dont mean them no good from what i can see.

when i was 19 years old, all i thought about was work and getting my education, which i did; i was in college, i had goals.

seeing these young girls waste their lives away by being under these males seems so very sad to me really. the girls dont seem to have a thought of their own in their head, and you simply cant communicate with them, because all they seem to know is "can i have".......begging really.

i feel bad for them

Where have you been living? Maybe it’s because you are in a tourist town why the young girls\old white men combination would seem more obvious to you but these situations exist almost any and everywhere.
Older men (black or white) like younger girls, they present less of a challenge for them and they are good for their egos, the less educated, the more in need they are, the better it is for them.

As for the young girls lets not talk about the “father figure” aspect of it, but you certainly cannot compare them to yourself at that age, they would probably tell you of growing up without a father or one that either did not care or could not provide for them, and a mother that could barely make ends meet and them having to take care of themselves at an early age. More often than not (being objective) it is plainly a matter of economics, to these girls it provides a meal ticket and some sort of security even if it’s just for the short term.

In the US Hugh Heffner and Anna Nicole Smith are notable examples, the US tabloids are riddled with "sugar daddy" stories like these so why should Jamaica or anywhere else in the third world be any different or come as any surprise to you?

And you're right, looking from the outside it is a sad situation. :(
