welcome sandy...
eating is highly overated. instead of seeking for the appropriate diet, just go on a month's fasting. Jesus did 40 days so you'll manage;)

If you are really concerned about your weight I would suggest doing what several of my friends have done and they have been very successful.
It of course requires a certain amount of discipline.

The first thing they did was to see a dietitian who planned a dietary program specific to their particular needs, and along with advice from a doctor they were able to control their condition.
Dietitians and their functions are very underated but very essential.

One friend lost weight so fast that people at his work place thought he had aids, but the truth is that weight loss cannot be ad hoc it has to be structured and regulated.
Allow the people who have the best information that is available to help you structure a program that is best suited to your needs.

You can ask your doctor to refer you to a good dietitian.

Good luck to you.

:eusa_naug Not all the time, someone is as fortunate as yuhself! People react differently to their surroundin. There are times when one tend to "over-eat" or just not eat, due to stress! :eusa_thin This isnt really the best advice to share with someone!

It all begins with you,and disciple will be the key to successfully shedding some pounds.
Visit your doctor and he'll check first to make sure there's no underlying risk factors for heart disease, hypertension, stroke and diabetes.

If all tests prove you are okay, then your doctor will refer you to a dietician. First rule is "everything in moderation"...your dietician WILL NOT tell you/advise you to stop eating anything...smaller portions of everything really works. Maintaining that habit will cause your body to adjust to the new meal sizes. Don't forget about exercise...intense workouts are not practical/logical/advisable....start with 10 - 15 mins. light aerobics (can be substituted for walking);so don't use rain as an excuse to skip walking...light aerobics, including walking around the house will do.
GOOD LUCK!:)

I feel ur pain sista, (sexy sandy) I just started jogging this morning after I was finished my arm and left leg went dead. But guess what I'll get up and do it all over again tomorrow. My point is dedication and consistency.
