I've heard that using the microwave without covering ur food with cling wrap or those plastic covers can be dangerous. Should the microwave be trusted?

If the food isnt cook properly, bacteria can survive, causin food-borne illness. Maybe you should check-up on it!

Hmm interesting, I thought the concern was if you covered the food with the plastic or cling wrap, it will release a poison that can kill you, or something to that affect.

Blah! Just as long as you don't put anything explosive in there, microwave away. More than likely, the food you eating killing you faster than the microwave ever will.

Very true, but at the same time Im respondin to his last statement.

Cover it yet to stop explosion, but don't stand infront of it. I knew a lady who stood infront of it constantly, and eventually she died. All her insides were eaten out by radiation.

I have seen so many people use various things to shield themself and their food
from the microwave, its rather silly :). The microwaves can not escape through
the mesh in the door, they just bounce off of it. Also covering your food with
anything other than metal wont stop the microwaves from reaching it so y'all
can throw that idea out of the door.

The doctor stated in his autopsy report that as a result of her constant stance afore the micorwave, radiation kill her off???

And if this is REALLY so, she must've cook EVERY thing in the microwave. :eusa_hand

Less is known about what happens to people when they are exposed to low levels of microwaves. To find out, large numbers of people who had been exposed to microwaves would have to be studied for many years. This information is not available.WTF.... what happened they all died???

As a kid i used to sit beside the microwave while it was doing its thing... lol the microwaves been killing me for years and a jus now me a find out.. dwl :eusa_snoo
