Teacher: Johnny, give me a sentence starting with "I."
Little Johnny: "I is..."
Teacher: No, Little Johnny. Always say, "I am."
Little Johnny: All right. "I am the ninth letter of the alphabet"

JB, he was going to say "I, is the ninth letter of the alphabet." But the teacher thought he was going to refer to himself in the sentence, so she told him to say "I am". Which then turned out to be her mistake, since he was talking about the letter "I" and not referring to himself.

Bwoy, if you have to explain out a joke, what does that say about the pers....I mean, the joke? :D ;)
