Don't spoil di BIG SIDE name :icon_lol:

I've got this years commemorative kit. .. I wouldn't dare soil it by playing ball in it .. I'd probably do that with last years away kit.
This season was a ringer, what I liked was how the young side eventually gelled and started playing the type of attractive football Arsenal are known for.
Even with all the injuries they've had they were still able to man-tain their presence in the league.
Wenger has a gift for picking talent and I think that gives him the edge over most managers in the league and Europe.
Remember he picked this side with a budget less than what Chelski and Man Ure had because the money they had was being used to build the new stadium.

the shirt is a knock off- me cant afford the real one . in mobay the shirt alone is for almost $4000.00
whats the going rate on the kit by the way ? .......guessing it might be in the range of $9500 ?
wenger is the Boss.! no argument there.
hear that there are plans to place a cap on the amount of money clubs spend on players because the smaller clubs suffering badly.
i think this would be a good idea and it would make the european leagues more competitive. intead of the stady deit that we used to ....manu , chelsea, arsenal, liverpool it would give the other clubs a chance to actually win the cup.

Meh....buckups. If Spurs had won....it would've been in vain. They qualified so it's all good. Man-U through too...so yeah....but what about Rooney :(
nuhsenutten
May 9, 2006, 11:50 AM
Rooney is still in the squad ....as there is a slim chance he might recover to tke part in the world cup ..... but they've named the new 17 y/o arsenal striker Walcott as a cover for Rooney if he dosent recover in time.

Spurs want a rematch with West Ham to whom they lost, because it is claimed that some of the squad were suffering from food poisoning. The FA have noted their request but it would seem unlikely at present that they'll get their request.
If they did have a replay and won, then they would go through in the fourth runners up spot in place of Arsenal...I think.

Wow....that would be a shame. The match was already played and they lost. If they had won, would they want a rematch then? They knew they had food poisoning and the score was 2-1 so I don't think they should plya it over.

Rooney or no Rooney England still not going anywhere !!!!!
England has never had a decent enough side to win a World Cup in years. (since 66)

The price of the kit varies with the time of year you buy it, now at the end of the season is a good time to get some really good deals.
Fortunately for I, I get mine from Europe :D
I know people who buy their kits online at kitbag.com and they end up costing a little over $3,000 but not more than $3,500.
I suspect that the kit will change for the new stadium but I guess they are waiting to post it until after the World Cup.
With regards to Walcott, as I said Wenger can spot talent when he sees it.

Spurs won't be getting a replay with West Ham, and that's official. It's all done and dusted. :)

Barca toyed with the game and it almost costed them. Only Eto'o and Puyol seemed like they were in to win it the whole game. Ronaldinho wasn't even marked out. He just had an off-game. He was more marked out in the AC Milan series and yet he still played well. One time he got a clear shot at the goal...from a cross from Eto'o and kicked the ball so wide...my word.
Larsson will be missed. He is Barca's trump card. Has always came trough for them. I don't think they ever lost a match this season once Larsson is on the pitch. He always comes on and manages to score...or assist goals. He was instrumental to Messi's goal scoring foree' while Eto'o was away in the African Nations. Frank Rikaard is a genius. And he knows his players. He's a very good strategist. I think it was unfortunate thought what happened to Lehmann. A hero throughout the competition...now to become the villian in the finals. I would've love to have seen a more open game. Barca controlled the game too much...with little spurts from Arsenal. Barca started to play ball when Iniesta came on. Larsson was just the final piece of the puzzle.
Henry....welcome to spain:D

arsenal played good with what they had. I was impressed with toure, cole and freddie. Personally thought the ref should have played the advantage but he went by the books a life. they were 2 good sides. congrats to barca

The friendly between JA and England is almost here. I think it's held at Manchester' Old Trafford on the 3rd of June (but don't quote me). I contemplated going there for all of ...er...2 seconds, then thought better of it. It would make a good spectacle... to see the greens and golds pull off a memorable upset. :eusa_thin
