We're loved and loathed in approximately equal measures...Yardie gets the blame for many ills...whether true or false. Jamaicans have influenced the world's music scene on a par with Britain and the US...Not bad for an Island of under 3 mil. Jamdown has major influence in the spoken word and attitude through it's flamboyant peoples impact wherever they are found mainly throughout the Western world and beyond...Small Island, Massive Impact. That's it in a nutshell...We're less unique now inasmuch as much of the world has adopted Jamaican mannerisms, music culture etc...Pity Jamaicans don't profit from it in a positive way. :)
