In Holland and Switzerland people can be lawfully terminated if they have a terminal disease or illness. Britain has just lost a vote to go down that same road...but for how long? Is it ever acceptable to bump someone off provided we have their full permission given while they possess all their marbles. Afterall none of us want to suffer unduly or wish someone close,or indeed otherwise, to endure pain any longer than needs be.
Should science and discretion come together to shorten suffering, or as with most things will we get it wrong sometimes and end a life that would probably have improved with time.
