To be childlike at an adult age is to be honest, caring, trustworthy and as good as one is likely to get from otherwise imperfect human beings.

Moses was said to be the meekest man on the surface of the earth during his time. No wonder then that God chose him from among his contempories to carry out the important duties which the Almighty purposed for his people Israel.

To flip the coin to the other side. Elisha was walking along the way to Bethel when a large group of children began to jeer at him saying guh weh u baalhead...Elisha for his part called down evil on them from the true God, who permitted a bear to savage and kill 42 of their number.

The point? Childlike qualities come in two flavours. When taught the correct path, their is no better human being than a child. Conversely, when children and are not taught with the correct discipline, then they can appear to be little monsters or devils. However when the latter children advance into adulthood without the appropriate guidance, they can exhibit the same childish and churlish behaviour that was prone to them as children, only now it is far more insidious and dangerous as adults.

Just as unruly children who are not friends with a certain individual do not want others to be friends with that person, so the adult of this type will persue churlish behavior of the self same nature in order to isolate someone
they deem not fit for others to have intercourse with. Churlish and anti-social behaviour that should not be encouraged.

If we as aduilts take exception to someone for whatever reason (it could be no more than the proverbial personality clash) we should'nt seek to to turn others against said individual because of our own shortcomings. This is completely counter-productive and childish.

Let's set a good example for those who are not yet at the stage of full adulthood by behaving our age. If we don't get on with someone, we'll not solve or resolve problems by being anti-social. No way hosea! :)
