What does that mean? You have a job so why are you ashamed? I had alot of jobs and believe me some of them were not good jobs. I worked in a nursing home and I called that job the shyt cleaner job. Because thats what i did all day for the elderly wiped everything. ewww. so what could be worse than that.

Right Kitten, no reason to be a shamed as long as it's an honest job. On the other hand I understand what Greatis is saying. I think the only reason why we sometimes feel a shame of what we do, is because of societal dictates. Society looks up to ppl with careers in fields like medicine, legal profrofessions, etc. However, we all can work in the same field.

Greatis, I think may be you should look at it another way. By servicing the American society, you are servicing the Jamaican Society. The Americans provide Jamaicans with jobs and thereby helping the Jamaican economy. Every dollar you and your fellow coworkers earn and spend goes into the Jamaican economy, thereby greating other jobs. It's a cycle :)

Not necessarily Greatis, creating jobs doesn't have to be from a big company perspective. The little man on the corner selling his wares has a job of some sort.
