Using a chemical to remove hair (even on your legs) is also going going to remove some amount of the epidermis or otherwise leave that area exposed.
You should have an idea how your skin will react to using such chemicals and the strength at which it will have to be used to achieve the desired affect you want.
IMO What I would suggest is that you speak to your Mom and then you both speak to a dermatologist, to have an idea of your skin type and have an idea of what you can or cannot do with it your skin.
As well as you can speak to persons who work at the spas that offer these services, some are highly trained and would be able to give you the exact advice you're looking for, and they probably wont charge you like the dermatologist.
Seriously Tiffany speak to your Mom about the "sexy" thing.
At 16 you don't need to be concerned about being sexy, much less to be going through these processes, trust me you don't need to.
Plus what's wrong with hairy legs???

Thanks for the advice Izemi-Clem.
@ Nester.. How you come to assume that I am a 'pretty dunce'.. Have I no right to fix up myself; and by the way I'm an A student and I'm a member of the National Honor Society, and you know what else I AM ON SUMMER HOLIDAYS NOW, meaning no school work, so I have time for titivating. I'm no airheaded boy crazy floosie......How dare you.

Pig, stop your bawling...
16 yr old children, should not be concerned with looking sexy.
Despite the fact that you are an A Student (Congrats), if you are concerned with being sexy at that age, then yeah, you pretty much are a boy crazy floosie...

Is that what this is about? But by 'sexy' i didn't mean slutty..

Sexy and slutty are two different things, but Sexy is not a word you should be concerned with at 16. There is a big difference between not looking like GULLY MONKEY

The combination is not good, after shaving/removing the hair, teh skin may be sensitive. Leave exfoliation for another week or so. The sleek look is normally achieved with shaving alone. If you practise good moisturizing techniques you should more than be fine.
Another solution may be to exfoliate at least 1 - 1 1/2 weeks prior to shaving.

hun remove the hair then exfoliate the hair removal process will leave tons of dead skin cell so exfoliate after to get rid of all that unwanted dead flesh
random fact: sand @ the beach is a natural exfoliaten

Since after you remove hair your skin becomes tender and inflamed, exfoliating would more than likely make it worst.
