Gotta agree with you there Kitten.

Still there are lots of things about this that bothers me. What are the impacts it has on society, looking at:

Genetical issues
Religious issues

yes I see :eusa_thin well genetically as far as that is concerned. They are already messing around with that alot. From the use of these fertility drugs and people having multiple births. I really dont like that at all. From test tube babies and people now being able to decide what gender that want to have. So these are all things we are looking at as a new society norm. Are we all excepting these changes. No not all of us. But what can be done about it.

As far as religion is concerned. You know that chrisitians are not going for anything that is not strickly biblical. They are not going along with this because it doesnt follow the normal procedure of a man and woman conceiving a child together. And it interferes with the concept of their religion. I think we could take this to the religious thread in discussing beliefs. and why and why nots. I like to do that. :)
