View Full Version : What day of the week would you like to chat?

On the heels of how often you want to have a Caribyard chat event, comes another question as to what day of the week would be convenient to most of you?

The chat would typically run for 6 hours in the evening. From 6pm Eastern (no daylight savings) to midnight. This should allow everyone who work (or not) to get a chance to come and settle in and chat.

You can select the days, if you have more than 1 day that is convenient to you.

After this poll is done I will set a regular date to have the chat. :eusa_danc
So hurry up and vote people.

Oh for crying out loud people!! Only 2 voted so far? And voted for every single one?
If there is no preferred day, I will choose Friday for the next chat. If you object, you can choose so in the poll.

Fridays and Saturdays are times when people like to hang out....not good days IMO.

friday or saturday is ok for me...but i can only vote for one day right?If Friday and Saturday are ok for you, then vote for them. Whichever day has the most votes, we will go with. It will mean more persons will be able to attend the chats on that day.

Friday and Saturdays are out for me. My favourite sci-fi shows comes on fridays. :D
And Saturdays I go bed early for church next morning. :D


I work nights usually every other weekWe can work the chats on weeks you don't work Chico.

Hey Arch....I'm apart of forum that has a chat on it. They even have a music player. When like alot of people online, we go in the lounge and chat. People still post while in the lounge. Then when it get's boring...they just stop chatting and keep posting. Whats wrong with that?

Ediat no one really has anything doing....so if you're a "no one" as you put it then you WOULDN'T have anything doing....and since you have something doing...IT DOESN'T APPLY TO YOU!!!

So like, whats wrong with that?"The chat room would be mainly empty, with persons popping in, seeing an empty room and then leaving. You would barely get enough persons in there at the same time to get a good conversation going.

Plus, the chat room will need to be moderated, if it is going to be part of CaribYard. Can't have it run it self. And having a mod in there 24/7 would be kinda difficult. ;)

Maybe in the near future we can reach that stage, having a chat event everyday, but for now, we working with how the majority of members feel about a chat. I mean, it's you guys that will be supporting the chat. Can't setup a chat room where no one turns up. :(
So we going for once a month until you guys scream for more.

We're growing but we have to learn to crawl before we run. ;)

The chat room would be mainly empty, with persons popping in, seeing an empty room and then leaving. You would barely get enough persons in there at the same time to get a good conversation going.

Plus, the chat room will need to be moderated, if it is going to be part of CaribYard. Can't have it run it self. And having a mod in there 24/7 would be kinda difficult. ;)
