Lack of Beaches...

I have wondered if Trinis feel left out because they don't have a good beach. Please don't say you have Maracas Bay cause thats not a beach!!! :lol:

You mean to tell me that a caribbean country/island doesn't have an adequate beach, not that I'm mocking or anything but doesn't that affect tourism?

Or is it that they have beches but they aren't kept tidy?

Trinidad may not have beaches like the rest of the Caribbean.

Anyway at least they have their docks and they make money from it...lots of North Americans leave their boats there and also buy fuel for their boats there too.

Also Trinidad's doesn't focus on tourism the way the rest of the Caribbean Island do...they have their oil industry.

I think you must have missed the links Tastee posted Trinidad has alot of beaches. how did this rumor get started. I know people from there they do have beaches. Check the links she posted.

Sorry Tastee and Ponda we know better that they do have beaches there. Im sure who ever started that rumor. They could have easily looked it up on the net. Its is a beautiful place and I love soca and carnival. I loved your links. :)

I don't think that the guy who started this thread said that there are no beaches, rather, being a Jamaican he may be insinuating that in comparison Trinidad doesn't have a good beach. I've never been there so I can't say how nice or poor their beaches are. I'll leave that up to you guys who have been there :)

Apparently he didnt know what he was talking about. They have beaches and if you look at the links or go to a Trindad site and look up beaches you will see that or anyone who wants to see if they have beaches.
