Why do people consistently destroy valuable evidence?

Just a few ours ago I was watching the news, people protesting about a police shooting and yet the are holding spent shells and discharged bullets with their hands smearing the original fingerprints and moving them from their original location. And these are the people who

Yu see it. Total nonsense. Crime scenes don't mean nothing to these people. Everybody want justice right now, and there way. Mi caa believe mi did see dem a hold up di evidence to the camera. lol Maybe police wasn't there yet to line off the crime scene?

The Coroner's investigator must pull his/her hair out everytime at these types of scences. What is the point of collecting evidence if it is tainted by every Tom, Dick, and Nigel on the street.
