As Jamaica continues to make their name in athletics and have slowly crept their way into other olympic sports, what other sporting event would you like to see Jamaica start participating in or put more interest in. Seeing that we are so multi-talented here.

I see:

Taekwondo
Cycling
Shooting
Badminton
water polo

A Jamaican Badminton player made it to the Olympics this year.
I think we had some shooters there too.

As for TKD, the style of TKD in the Olympics is WTF (World TaeKwondo Federation) which places more emphasis on the sport aspect of TKD. The TKD schools in Jamaica (that I know about) are ITF (International TaeKwondo Federation) style which don't subscribe to the same philosophy as the WTF. They use different forms, and have differences in techniques, rules etc. There's some big politics thrown in there too. So unless Jamaica gets some WTF TKD schools I don't see us sending a TKD team to the Olympics.

We only had one air shooter, Dawn Marie Kobayashi.
She came 41 or 51 there about.
