Mine doesn’t really have a meaning to it, just a history.
I got it when I was in 6th grade. I used to take lunch to school and this particular day I took bun and cheese. I said to my friend who just bought bun for lunch, "Rope-een with di cheese" which back fired on me. I was called "Rope-een with di cheese" until my peers just shortened it to Ropy.

The phrase Rope-een wid di cheese was taken from a commercial that I saw on television with Oliver at the airport saying that to someone. It was a commercial for one of the popular bun makers.

Well my screen name is just piece of my real name.
When i was younger i always wanted a nickname, when i try to think about WHY i wanted a nickname i can't rember.
I started thinking of a descriptive name for myself. Turns out i never really liked any that came to mind, so i started using the one my mother for some reason loved calling 'YADDDA!!!!!!!! How many times must i tell you......... "
Ok i changed it from Yadda to Yatta..... i think it had a better ring to it :-)

Actually no Angel. It's true. I have done more far more actually. I was given the name because of this but this is nothing compared to me eating normally.

I was not working for about five months. So during those months I was very idle had nothing to do but eat. So everyday we would run a bout. Me an mi three fren dem or sometime jus too of us. I remember on day we bought 6lbs of flour and pick some ackee. No this is how we make dumplins. For each pound we should have 6 dumplins so we had about 40 dumplins after the pot done. It was only two of us that day. I ate 25 of those dumplins that day with ackee and had some glasses of lemonade with it.

You may all think it's a lie but hey. I am always hungry :icon_cry:
