Does God hear our Prayers? Does God hear when people are crying to him about all the devastion in the world? Does he hear the crys of moms who loose the lives of their innocent children. How would you feel about God if you loose someone like that to violence and would you feel the same love for God. Do you feel this is the sacrifice we have to make in order be with him in enternity.

Kitten...excellent questions. I can't say I have all the answers but this is my response based on the scriptures and belief in Jesus.
Does God hear our Prayers?
Yes God hears all our prayers. Does he always respond to them the way we wish, No.
Luke 11 v 9 - 10
And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
The bible also speaks about God giving us the desires of our hearts if it is in keeping with what he wants for us (can't remember the scripture)
Does God hear when people are crying to him about all the devastion in the world?
Yes, God hears when we cry out to him. However, remember that the devastations and other problems are as a result of mankind's sin. God gave us a choice to either worship him wholly or to do as we please. Our suffering is a result of our sins. Too often, we only remember God when we are going through difficult times or disasters.
Hebrews 10 v 36 - 39
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
How would you feel about God if you loose someone like that to violence and would you feel the same love for God.
2 Corinthians 5 v 6 - 8:
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
Would I still love God yes, simply because I believe the scriptures and I know that no matter what I go through, Christ went through far more and for our sins.
2 Corinthians 4 v 16 - 18
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Is it easy to keep the faith and to continue to believe, for me no. Basically it takes constant praying and reading the bible to get by on a daily basis.

I believe he hears us and their is a plan for us. That has been written in the bible and so we have to go through things in life...and we will endure hardship in our lives. But we have to thank God for all things and sometimes we have to grieve and it may seem hard to deal with that lost. But if you believe in God you know Jesus did suffer for all. And if he could endure all that he did. Then we should be able to also. Never forget he gave his son life for the sins of man. Remember your bible and pray through these hard times. peace and bless up.

I know God hears and answers my prayers.
I've gone through some rough times in my life, and He definitely heard my pleas. When I was in the depth of despair after losing close family members to murder and illness, almost flunking out of University, and generally feeling low and worthless, He lifted my spirits, gave me wife, helped me finish my education, get a good job and get a home. He put my life back on track. He made me feel special again.
God has already told us that we will suffer hardships in this life. He also promises us that if we are faithful to Him and trust in Him, he will help us through it all, and give us eternal life with Him in Heaven, without sin, pain and suffering that we see here on earth.
