Hail
I have a friend who has this disorder, she told I that she is talking about it because, as she said she had come to terms with dealing with it.
As she told me most lupus patients aren't expected to live very long, that in it self is hard to deal, especialy since most ppl get diagnosed when they are in their teens or even before.
She mentioned going to the hospital very often, thankfully she migrated where hospitals had the necessary support services to deal with her condition. She told me of very low periods, the strain on her family, especially when her mother got frustated because she wasn't able to cope and even suggested that she was being a burden to her.
Since then all fences have been mended and she continues to live her life defying the odds. Her symptoms have decreased and she rarely has bouts but she has made the decision not to have children.
As she puts it, "I appreci-love life more and do not dwell on the things that I cannot change".
Support your friend Rachiebabe but give her the space she needs.
