A section dedicated to religion & theology needs to be added. Too many spirituality inclined threads are scattered in the the General topics section. These threads would be easier to find if they were all packed in one section.

I concur.... what say you mods? I believe AK has also suggested a financial subsection.

There have been a few but scattered. May be if we had a separate thread ppl would post more. In fact the reason I don't bother to post more on that subject is because the threads get lost and it's too much trouble to find them.

There are some excellent articles that I read that I think we could all benefit from.

Xeno had a couple posts about purchasing of stocks.... plus with alot of people taking more interest in their government's spending, it may not be such a bad idea.

I would prefer a Philosophical section more than a religious/spiritual one. Philosophy can encompass Religion and thoughts about Life, the Universe and Everything Else.

Interesting point.... since they are people who don't believe in spirituality nor religion, nor a God for that matter.

Potentially good idea. What about calling it "Philosophical & Spirituality".

Another question - are you sure it won't start friction? I've always heard that there are two types of discussions that can get contentious ... Religion and Politics ;) Then again, you guys (and gals) mostly keep the peace so my question may be unfounded.

Religion and Spirituality is a good name.

Politics can be for another forum.

Either "Philosophical and spiritual []" or "Philosophy and Spirituality[x]"..........
The combination above seems a bit off..........
'twould be nice to see what y'all have to say about these topics though.

OK, now I know that I need some rest, what was I thinking? "Philosophy and Spirituality" is more correct than "Philosophical and spirituality".

Thanks for the correction recursion.

A little conflict is good it keeps things interesting, as long as ppl don't go overboard at which point the thread can be locked.

I still say we need an money/financial forum.

The new section (Spirituality and Philosophy) has been created. We now have the task of moving the relevant threads into it so please assist by "reporting" theads using the report thread feature to inform us of threads that need to be moved.

Also, please remember to keep it civil ;)

Mostly in the General Chit chat section.

You didn't seem to need money to finance the spirituality forum so why would you need for this? Maybe if you add the forum someone will post something that would teach you to make money?:icon_mrgr

You didn't seem to need money to finance the spirituality forum so why would you need for this? No, but I prayed and pondered on the philosophical issues surrounding adding it :eusa_pray
Maybe if you add the forum someone will post something that would teach you to make money?:icon_mrgrthe first thing they're going to tell me is that it takes money to make money and that's where I'm going to fail the lesson :icon_lol:

- That's easy to do. Just do a search for virtually any thread I've started in the General Chit Chat section. :eusa_shif

Yea I noticed. It makes me wonder though. You seem to be constantly reading on various topics, one such topic is spirituality. Here's the part that makes me fret, you have acquired a lot of knowledge and yet you are still waaaay off on certain religious points much less me who doesn't study at all.

Woe is me for I am undone!! :eusa_doh: :eusa_wall

Once you have heard the truth you know it is truth though. I think I have heard it. Trust me, when you hear it you will shake. You really need to look deeply at the Seventh Day Adventist and their doctrines
