Does anyone do the gym thing in the morning or exercise in the AM. Somedays im good but other day I want to sleep. ha ha. I like to get up early. Im a early bird. Gotta run carpools here! :icon_mrgr

Am on saturdays you know me its hard for me during the week. But I do aerobics at home I have some tapes and sometimes just to music. Going out dancing is a good work out.

I don't work out like I use to. In fact I just receive a free gym membership from one of my girlfriends. I must take advantage.

LOL...You assume am in shape, am not, way too lazy these days :) However, I am fortunate not to have to worry too much about my weight:)

Salsa and reggae....do it for 2-6 hours a week and I am getting straight.

That sounds like fun Cocoa. When I was in Barbados I use to do Latin and Ballroom dancing and I loved it.

Im interested in the pilates now that you mentioned it Kitten and water aerobics. But i will be taking it easy soon get me alittle bundle to carry so I will be tired. That just made me hungry again. :icon_mrgr :p

I stay in shape by playing ball. Sports is my way to stay in shape. I have weights at home. and they have gym were I work but I tend to shoot hoops, when I get off some evenings.

Ladies dont despair I love women that are round and I think other men do to. But my lady is small frame and that is ok too. I always tell her she could gain alittle weight to me. If your comfortable and you dont have health problems. Its alright but when it becomes a problem head for the gym you will feel good with a work out. :D

I went on a guest pass Monday I was so sore in my legs. I thought I was in shape but my legs hurt. Im going to try again next week and see if i want to be a member. :icon_ques

I feel much better I been trying to follow some exercise on TV and it relax the muscle spasm. Now I will be ready on Monday for the gym. :p

you could do sit ups, or lie down and lift your legs a little off the ground and hold them in place. i prefer the 2nd however, but make sure that u can handle it.

yes start of alittle each time and do sets. You can get something and put under the legs like a ottoman or something so your legs bend. You can do sets of crunches like this. Good Luck

I go to the gym in splurts! Like I'll go for like 2 hours a day for a month, then stop for 2 months lol I have NOOOOOO dicipline! lol

I find my OLIVINE like dancing keeps me from getting toooooooo big! :icon_mrgr But I strill got some weight to take off, although I have lost quite a bit of weight recently. I still wanna get down a bit more. :cool:

Tastee i lost my eight pounds and i have not put them back on yet. i try and eat less meet. Bashment, dancing does help you stay in shape. I do it at home and when I can go out all the time.

hmmm so guys I am off to the Gym now. So I went last week thursday and did some upper body workout came to work friday saturday and sunday looking like some poor thing cause guess what mi ina pain star. Mi hand dem swell. Go back Monday yesterday that is and worked on the legs. Right now mi wondering if is me dem legs deh belong to me or someone else.

Gym to expensive for me right now, so basically home excercise I do, situps, pushups, pullups on the door jam, lift weights.

I dont go to the gym, my job is activity laden enough, as well I walk almost everywhere. If I went to the gym, I would just put on unneeded muscle mass. I am already naturally built. Would probably do some aerobics in the near future to become limber.

I have never been to a gym in all my life. I did Tae Kwon Do for a couple of years and when I was living in Barbados, Ballroom and Latin Dancing which is good exercise. Now I do very little since I am a lazy bum :)

Planning to work out though...soon I keep telling myself:)

i'm sorry but i'm not into the exercise thing i prefer to dance so i do a lot of that. I have never seen inside of a gym before.

many of my friends have home gyms so i normally work out there instead of paying gym fees at spartan and em places. pushups and the rest i still do in the morning.

I don't go to gym and theres no sign on me that i have ever been to a gym except for a 6 pack(need sum toning though) otherwise i'm a skinny guy. I use to do alotta push ups in the mornings, and sum punching, haven't dun that in months.

Now i've started lifting a water filled keg with each hand 20 times every morning, i need sum muscles on my bones, so its teh cheap way for me, a broke folk. heheh

Exercising at the gym and working out should be complimented with a balanced diet.
Dieting is probably more important than actually going to the gym, i read where maintaining a proper blood pressure level is critical for mental and physical fitness more than anything else, we need to pay more attention to that first (YOU, the owners manual by by Michael F. Roizen, Mehmet Oz -

Personally I prefer walking and jogging on a daily basis with some free weights in the evening, i "try" to dedicate hour and half to two hours per day to work out but sometimes i'm just too tired from work and keeping a schedule is futile, but at least my intentions are in the right place.

Dedication and discipline are key factors as well.

i love to work out but i'm just not consistent with it. i skip at times and ride my cycle...as for the diet...just aint got that kinda discipline. i dont know what a balanced diet is and i dont think that i am ready to find out

Me too, but I hate doing exercise. I told my friend I would so that I would be in shape this Christmas Holiday. I planning on coming home to JA every Christmas....

Mi do the gym thing at lunch it tuff still. The more me diet it seems like the bigger mi gut get. I do situps like crazy still nothing. can someone tell me how to get rid of my gut?
