You are correct. That theme is great! :sold:

So is the Knight Rider theme. It's so cool, it's been sampled in some new cool songs (Timbaland sampled it for his song and one for Busta Rhymes, and most recently Panjabi MC sampled it for a tune featuring Jay-Z).

I also liked the theme from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E."

Star Trek Voyager (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXCP6lJkDZU) for the win! It's a beautiful classical theme in G-major! (I found it on my piano). I especially loved the flute array playing minor chord stoccato in the background while the violins took alto keys and the french horns took leads. Then a beautiful bridge ensues where the violins hold the the same note from the first stanza while the French horns modify the main melody. The two instruments then switch roles for the bridge (violins take lead, while French horns take alto backup), creating a beautiful symmetry of wind vs. strings as the theme ends in a crescendo, with french horns on lead and violins on alto minor chords.

This theme is a perfect example of the Pythagorean Philosophy which states that "music is the harmonization of opposites; the conciliation of warring elements". The arrangement between the French Horns and the violins was absolutely AMAZING... :eusa_clap It was so beautiful, that I almost cried the first time I heard it. It's an absolutely amazing composition, and easily one of Jerrald Goldsmith's best work - PERIOD. Man I wish I could compose music like that. That would be so frickin' awesome. The only people in the business anywhere as good as Goldsmith is John Williams (Star Wars / Indiana Jones) Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings) and Hans Zimmerman (The Time Machine). European composers are filled with God and Win! :icon_mrgr

Some of them don't have lyrics, but that is what makes them even better in my opinion. Pure beat and melody...not a bad thing.
