I've been hearing about this megaphone thing, and it sounds pretty sweet.. But, there's someone in Ja who i've been spending alot of money on phone cards on calling .. this person says that maegaphone isn't thats good of a deal..is it true? is it fair?

I think the Megaphone deal is pretty fair. I've been dying to get one. The phone costs about $1500 and it comes with $1000 credit. You get $100 to make local calls and the other $900 goes towards unlimited overseas call for the month. So basically you spend about $900 for the month to get unlimited overseas calling. Whoever said that the megaphone isn't that good of a deal probably just wants you to continue spending your money so that they won't have to spend any. I spend about over $900 every week or so on overseas calling cards + cards for my cellphone. I've been unable to source a megaphone because people buy them so quickly. I think it's a pretty sweet deal overall.

I have one. The coverage is not 'top-notch' but it's usable (well in my country area). There are down times as well, but overall, good service at a reasonable cost. :)
