Inside Jamaica, people can call 876-926-4826 to make your pledge. You can also call the automated credit line at 876 976-4263

It runs until midnight tonight. Calls made within Jamaica will be billed at $20 per call and the cost goes to help the victims of Ivan. You can also pledge money.

Is the amount of 6 million is that Jamaican dollars. I hope they get enough to recover we dont get that station here.

I heard that they raised about 6 million Ja dollars so far. They are keeping the lines open for more contributions. They are aiming for 10 million.

All I hope is that the money is actually used in relief efforts and not wasted any where else. :(
