PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, January 7, 2008 - Trinidad & Tobago's murder rate has already reached an even dozen this year with the killing of two men in north Trinidad last night.
Dead are Addison Williams, 26, of Palmiste Street, Morvant and Trevon Timothy, of Building B, Paradise Heights, Morvant. Both men were shot at around 7.30 p.m. yesterday in two separate incidents, police said and later died at the Port of Spain General Hospital.
The latest killings come as homicide detectives continue their investigation into Saturday's murder of Anastacio "Papa" James, 19, who was shot dead in a churchyard in Belmont and Henry Christopher, 49 of Marie Road, Morvant was also killed on Saturday on Laventille Road.
