I know Salome Campbell quite well actually used to work the same place I don't know if she has what it takes to make but let's see. I have seen some of the pre interviews and I must say eloquence is lacking in more than a few of these girls and that is a requirement. Quickness of wit is not widely spread in this bunch. I think it is probably one of the err least intelligent bunch of Ms. Universes I've Seen. Zara Redwood would beat all of them hands down.

I missed it, I actually thought it was today. It came on tv right? How come information on the winner is so scanty. I had to do some google skimming to find some info.

The winner seems to be April Jackson. I could be wrong though. How did Keisha Cole do, did she show up?

She was great, I enjoyed her performance, it was entertaining to say the least. I just wished I had left there at that time or I wouldn't have been so upset by the win. Donieka Plowright, more than deserved to be crown. Are we really sending up this 18 year old to represent us? I think she deserves to be in the top 3, but not taking it home. And not to be miss Jamaica on an international platform.

I was than pissed, but not like the ppl in the stands who threw bottles on stage...i thought that was kinda low.

She has more experience than the other girls. She was crowned Ms. Jamaica UK when she was 17. I see a lot of people on Facebook saying that she should not have won and that Rebecca Silvera deserved it more. But it was mostly prejudiced uptown people. One guy called her a 'clapper'. . .whatever that means. What pissed me off is that guy was very fugly. His face looked like it got burned with toxic a5S juice. Ugly men who criticize beautiful women they can never get pisses me off:icon_twis. I don't see what is very striking about Rebecca though. She looks like every other 'browning' but in Jamaica that counts for a lot I guess. Doneika is beautiful but they were saying they didn't want two natural hair winners in a row. Don't see what is so wrong with April though. I think she will do awesome. Go April!!

I wasn't keeping up with the whole miss jamaica thing but I looked on some pics yesterday and I don't think Rebecca is all that beautiful. Actually reminds me of Cruella Daville :eusa_shif from 101 dalmations, anybody remembers that animation?

Ok, maybe that's a little harsh. She looks like the young and very pretty version of Cruella Daville. Am I contradicting myself?

Actually she's pretty hot, She just looks ''nuff''.

Is the natural hair thing, is that eenuh. I wasn't carrying the Browning, becasue that is not a true reflection of J'cans, not everyone out here was sleeping with "Massa Backra"

Donieka, while not having a crown for herself yet, or attaining that experience, would still have done us proud.

Cho man, "Out of Many, one people" Leave the natural browning alone. They are just as natural as any other Jamaican woman. Its good for the gene pool Twinkie, makes for good breeding. ;)

What they should do is cut out the bleaching thing and the excessive false hair. These people are starting to master the art of fake appearances; ''it starting to confuse I and I and mi no like dat!!!! Serious, dem girl yah get too slick man, cut out the fakeness.'' lol

''Wah me wah see now a more indian girl and hispanic girl inna di place.'' See, all the spanish hotels are taking over, they need to import some female workers from South America and make it truly a spanish experience. :eusa_droo

Ok Ms. Jackson was on RJR this morning speaking with Paula-Ann and Alan. and I had to fight myself not to smile. But I consider my self mature so....She deserves it. Good judgment. She is well rounded, speaks beautifully, well read, highly intelligent, jovial, fresh, captivating. I concede, she really would do us well in Vietnam

Manu
April 22, 2008, 07:04 PM
Still not as charismatic as Yendhi. Zahra is another "uppity" one. She was on it last week and I could her hear take insult to a comment made by the hosts which was in jest/ignorance but she was like "what do you mean by that" with a kind of tone and I could hear Paula trying her best to clarify as you could tell she sensed the tension in the studio, so much so that it was conveyed on air.

But to answer your question, the latter latter. I don't want to be found via google. I don't want strangers to find me... just people in my network cos chances are, with so many friends, you're bound to know atleast one... and if you don't... tough luck!
